Brian is a professional business coach with extensive experience assisting small and medium sized business owners achieve greater success. Brian made the decision to move into the business coaching world following a 20-year period during which he started and owned a number of highly successful retail, service and real estate investing businesses. He co-founded Growth Strategies in 2005 and his focus as a Business Coach is to consistently help his client’s achieve improved results.
Brian has started and owned a variety of businesses in the GTA, always practicing his philosophy of leveraging the business to provide a superior quality of life. He very much believes in the definition of a business being "a profitable, commercial enterprise that works without you." His expertise in team building and systematizing gives his clients an opportunity to enjoy the benefits of being true business owners rather than working "at a job;" further supporting his belief that the real purpose of owning a business should be to develop it so that your time is being spent working on it and not in it.
Operating companies ranging in size from start-up to $4 million in sales with up to 15 employees, Brian has thrived in cost and time-driven environments; and, he has demonstrated his effectiveness in numerous start-up, turn-around and facility consolidation situations.
Brian’s client list includes companies from a wide range of industries including Manufacturing, Service, Retail and Real Estate. He holds membership in the Brampton Board of Trade, the Real Estate Investment Network and the International Coaching Federation. He is a graduate of the Coach U. Core Coaching Essentials program. Robert E. Jeffery, Partner
As a certified business coach, Bob helps owners of small and medium sized businesses achieve greater success by utilizing his substantial experience both as a business coach and as a senior executive in those markets. After owning a business coaching franchise for 5 years, Bob co-founded Growth Strategies in 2005, where he continues to help business owners succeed.
Prior to becoming a business coach, Bob had a progressive career in a variety of high technology manufacturing organizations. These companies have been unionized and non-unionized, privately and publicly owned and have ranged from turn around situations to highly profitable, maintenance type environments. His experience also includes operational responsibility for a number of mergers and acquisitions.
As a senior executive, Bob held a number of key positions including Vice-President Operations, Director Operations and General Manager. He has extensive experience in a wide variety of areas such as engineering, manufacturing, materials management, program management, sales and marketing, contract management, quality-assurance and human/industrial relations.
Bob has operated companies ranging in size from $4 million to $60 million in sales with 40 to 300 employees. He has achieved significant accomplishments in cost and schedule driven environments and has demonstrated his effectiveness in numerous turn-around and facility consolidation situations.
